In Vol. 5, we met the 10 Gods (your roles) and the 12 Branches (your stage). But having a stage and actors isn’t enough for a great play. You need a good script where everything flows in harmony.

In Saju, this is called Balance. A chart that is too “hot” needs cooling, and a chart that is too “crowded” needs space. Let’s see how your life’s energy finds its equilibrium.

1. The Temperature of Your Destiny (Jo-Hoo)

Imagine a stage. Is it a freezing winter tundra or a scorching summer desert? Saju considers the Season of your birth to be your environment’s “temperature.”

• If your chart is too Cold (Born in Winter/Water): You may be brilliant and deep, but you need the “Fire” of passion and visibility to bring your ideas to light.
• If your chart is too Hot (Born in Summer/Fire): You are full of energy and drive, but you need the “Water” of calmness and strategy to avoid burnout.

Finding your balance: Life feels most comfortable when you encounter people or environments that provide the “temperature” you lack.

2. The Power Struggle: Strong vs. Weak (Yuk-Bu)

Not all “Actors” on your stage have equal power.

• The Overpowered Chart: If you have too many “Companion” or “Resource” stars, your ego is strong, but you might feel stuck or stubborn. You need to “leak” that energy through Output (Creativity) or Wealth (Action).
• The Underpowered Chart: If your chart is filled with “Wealth” or “Influence” stars, the world demands a lot from you. You might feel overwhelmed. You need to “recharge” through Resource (Knowledge) or Companion (Support).

3. The Flow (Sang-Saeng)

The most “effortless” lives are those where the elements flow in a continuous circle.

• The Wealth Flow: Resource → Day Master → Output → Wealth.
  • Translation: You learn something (Resource), you express it (Output), and it turns into profit (Wealth).
• The Career Flow: Wealth → Influence → Resource → Day Master.
  • Translation: Your hard work (Wealth) gains you a title (Influence), which brings you specialized wisdom (Resource).

Check your chart: Is there a “blockage” where the energy stops? That is often where you feel the most stress in your real life.

Why This Matters

Understanding your flow tells you what you need.

• If your flow stops at “Output,” you are a great creator who needs a manager to turn it into “Wealth.”
• If your flow stops at “Wealth,” you are making money but might be lacking the “Influence” (honor/stability) to keep it.
